Easy arrival by car
Take the Autobahn München-Salzburg A8 from Munich and continue on good secondary roads. Please note: if you are arriving on the A8 from Munich, we suggest you take the exit Bad Reichenhall. Continuing through Austria requires a "vignette", which is a toll-road sticker.
Rental car
You also have the possibility to rent a car at Salzburg airport and of course Munich airport.
Reception and local transportation
The host will organize the reception of participants at International Airport Salzburg and will facilitate the free transfer of delegates on arrival and departure between the airport, the official hotels, the venue of the Conference and the social programme. Upon arrival at International Airport Salzburg, participants will be waited by representatives of Berchtesgaden holding signs with the name of the Conference and will guide them to their corresponding transfer vehicle. An information desk in charge of the transfers’ coordination will be also available at Salzburg airport.
The host will also organize the free transfer of delegates on arrival and departure at the International Airport Munich, twice on Saturday, 2 March 2019 (subject to demand of participants). Upon arrival at International Airport Munich, participants will be waited by representatives of Berchtesgaden holding signs with the name of the Conference and will guide them to their corresponding transfer vehicle.

Empfang und Transport vor Ort
Die Gastgeberregion organisiert den Empfang der Teilnehmer am Flughafen Salzburg und ermöglicht den kostenlosen Transfer der Delegierten bei Ankunft und Abreise zwischen dem Flughafen, den offiziellen Hotels, dem Veranstaltungsort der Konferenz und dem Rahmenprogramm. Ein Informationsschalter, der für die Koordination der Transfers zuständig ist, wird auch am Flughafen Salzburg verfügbar sein.
Der Gastgeber organisiert außerdem den kostenlosen Transfer der Delegierten bei Ankunft und Abreise am internationalen Flughafen München zweimal am Samstag, dem 2. März 2019 (je nach Bedarf der Teilnehmer). Nach ihrer Ankunft am Internationalen Flughafen München werden die Teilnehmer von Vertretern des Berchtesgadener Landes mit dem Namen der Konferenz empfangen und zu ihrem entsprechenden Transferfahrzeug geleitet.
