How to get in the Berchtesgadener Land

 

It's faster to fly! Salzburg airport is about 15 km away and Munich airport roughly 150 km.

Traveling by car

From Munich, the Berchtesgadener Land is accessible via the München-Salzburg (A 8) Autobahn. Simply exit at Bad Reichenhall.

 

An attractive road to reach us can be taken by exiting the Autobahn at Traunstein/Siegsdorf and following the German Alpine Road (Deutsche Alpenstraße / B305) all the way here.

 

Local Transportation

A reliable local bus service is offered throughout the Berchtesgadener Land. Attractions and hiking trail heads can easily be reached and at little cost. Most bus routes start at the train station.
